Just returned from a 2 night stopover. As previous reviewers have stated, no EHU, but a brilliantly sunny spot so loads of solar.
Levelling blocks required. Tap and grey waste to each pitch. Chemical disposal in corner of field. Exactly as described.
Good dog friendly pub in Lower Boddington, 10 minute walk down hill.
Will certainly return of we're in the area.
Really quiet at night, very little passing traffic, just owls hooting and deers barking.A most relaxing spot.
Lovely peaceful site
Just returned from this lovely CL, easy to find from either Lower or Upper Boddington. We visited the pub in Lower Boddington and were made very welcome and had a great meal. Site itself has taps and drains on each pitch, pitches slope down a little so you might want ramps depending on your unit. No electric hookup but as others have said sunlight is good for solar. Great break at this site and would recommend to others.
Excellent off grid site
Easy road access near, gated site entrance. perfect site (ramps/self levelling needed as per site info). Views over country side are beautiful. Site is shielded from the road by high tree line. Site feels very safe and very well site up for amenities, good sun line for solar panels. Drainage and water per pitch is a real benefit. Paved access to both adjacent villages each with a pub/restaurant just several minutes walk. Site owner very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing break and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this site.
A peaceful site with spectacular views on a road with a pub at each end.
We booked our stay for a week in July and were initially drawn to the site by the view over the Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire countryside and we were not disappointed. The individual water and waste connections for each pitch are brilliant and although there's no electric hook-up the site gets plenty of sunlight to make a solar panel more than compensate. The site is well positioned for access to Coventry, Stratford, Warwick, the British Motor Museum at Gaydon. There are two National Trust Properties, Farnborough Hall, and Canons Ashby within a few miles. We enjoyed a couple of good walks around Boddington Reservoir and the Oxford canal.
Brilliant site and will definitely return.
