Helpful owner greeted us, provided useful local information, site clean and tidy. Location felt very quiet, secure and rural despite being a 10 min walk from supermarket and town centre.
Good dog walk nearby and plenty of space around van for dog.
Will defiantly be back in the future.

Spacious and secure CL
We have recently spent 15 nights at Lashlake Barn which we found to be spacious and very secure as access is to the side of the owners house through large electric gates. The pitches are well spaced out and there is no rules on orientation of your unit. They are reasonably level and have EHU and water to each pitch. The owners are very pleasant and are regularly seen in and around the site along with their chickens! The site is visited by a mobile fish and chip van once a week, but a short walk is the lovely town of Thame. There are plenty of pubs and shops with a couple of supermarkets in the town. A great location for Oxford and surrounding the areas. We’d definitely return and would recommend to others.
Very Convenient
Lovely secluded site. 5 minute walk to Pubs/cafes/supermarkets. No toilet/shower block as advertised but EHU/Fresh water available and grey water/chemical toilet disposal points. Will visit again. Thanks John
Lovely site
Just spent a couple of nights on this secure and secluded site, a lovely spacious CL in a great location and John was very welcoming. It's a 10 minute walk into Thame town centre where there are plenty of bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. Bus stop is only a 5 minute walk away where you can get a bus into Oxford which takes 40 minutes.
Excellent
Just had a weekend at this site which is excellent and sits on a lovely location, Thame is beautiful and John is most welcoming and attentive. Will be back to this excellent site.
Thame
Just spent a few nights here not the best CL I have been to in my 40 years motorhoming/caravanning the only good thing is it near Thame if you want to visit there. Not advertised on their website is you have to leave by 11.00 on departure day and they have 7 units not the usual licensed 5 as at all the CLs I have ever stayed on. Didn’t feel relaxed or happy on this busy site which is the whole purpose of caravanning. Will not be returning

Close to Thame
Easy to find and secure site with key fob entrance. Nicely mown field. Closed facilities but no explanation why as COVID restrictions are finished. Great location with easy 10 min walk into Thame with plenty of shops bars cafes etc and a large Waitrose also within walking distance. The cost of being so close to town is the very noisey road which never stops. Yes the church bells chime every hour but no big deal. The downside for us was first impressions. Old farm machinery, broken washing machine, wooden pallets and abandoned canoes seem to just be left in odd places. Shame it brought an unloved feeling to the site. Plus side is location to town but bring your earplugs!
Simply excellent
excellent cl. large and relaxing. easy flat walk to town with great selection of shops pubs restaurants and local services. super friendly owner. recommended. will return
An Excellent Find
Without doubt this is the best CL we have ever stayed on. Good access, a vast well kept site, with plenty of space between each pitch and pleasant and helpful owners. A quiet country feel yet only a short walk to the centre of Thame andbus stops for Oxford and Aylesbury only yards from the site gate. I cannot rate this site highly enough. Thank you for making us feel so welcome John, we will be back!
Lovely overnight stay
We stayed at this CL for one night only on our way to and from the ferry port to France. The site is close to the M40 so very convenient and about half way for us.
Access was easy and the owner was welcoming. The pitches are large, flat and have water and electricity. We had a quiet peaceful night and were woken at 7am by the next door church bells. No alarm clock required. It’s a short walk into the lovely town of Thame where everyone is very friendly and we had a nice evening meal and shopped at Waitrose.
For us it was great for one night but we do not have a shower in our caravan, so the fact that the on site shower was closed means we could not consider a longer stay.
We did not access places of local interest apart from the town so can’t really comment on that.
