Great site close historic town

Lashlake Barn
Other reviews have said what a lovely site this is ,and we agree .Apart from the high level of site facilities we really liked the easy access to Thame where you can find many excellent places to eat . John, the owner was very helpful. In summary one of the best sites.

Home from home

Lashlake Barn
I could not rate this site anymore. It really felt like a home from home. Jon was extremely friendly and very willing to help/ find the right spot for us. The pictures to this site do not show it’s true beauty and how perfect the location is. From being on the edge of the river with a platoon down to it (perfect for those who have Kayaks) to being just on the edge of an active and historical town. Despite this, the site is tranquil and quiet making you forget how central you actually are. I cannot wait to go back and for longer next time!

Very enjoyable

Lashlake Barn
We spent a week at this lovely place. Easy to find and very welcoming owners. Sites are spacious and each has own water (and blackberries). We enjoyed sitting by the river watching the goslings/moorhens/red kites and kingfisher after we'd done a day of sightseeing NT locations in the local area - lots to see and do. Thame is a lovely English town and is a good Midsomer Murder location with the village green, cricket pitch, church (and bells), with a Sainsbury ..... and a Waitrose both just 5 minutes away!!

A really great stopover

Lashlake Barn
We stayed for one night whilst travelling east to west across the country. The site was easy to find a brilliantly situated for an evening meal. Thame has lots to offer, we ate at the Black Horse and had a lovely meal. There is a little noise from the road but not noticed once cosy inside the van. John was very welcoming and helpful with directions and suggestions. We’d definitely stay here again.

Delightful

Lashlake Barn
This site is just as described. Well kept, peaceful, river running by, very short walk to shops including Waitrose! We were very sorry we had only booked a night but will go back.
