REVIEWS MISLEADING

First time at this CL, lovely farm and cottages but a lot needs to be done with the CL site at £15 pn we expected more, there are other CL's nearby that have fantastic views and better facilities for a lot less per night.

1st CL this year

Arrived 2nd Aug, Easy access, A lovely peaceful site nice views, walks plenty for children to do. Kendal an hour away, lots of other places to visit. I am writing this in van on laptop but tablets/phone you need to be nearer the barn where you get stronger signal. All in All an excellent CL

Everything you would wish a CL to be

Our 2nd visit to this CL, once again perfect. Great CL with amazing views. Lots of nearby places to visit - Settle, Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale to name a few. A lovely spot in fantastic countryside - we'll be back.

A Gem

This CL is a gem. Its peaceful, clean and has excellent facilities. A play park for the children, games room, good dog walks, fantastic views and the local town of Settle is a short drive or bus journey away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this CL and will are already looking forward to booking our next stay there.

A Cl with things for children too!

What a lovely CL with something for everyone. This was our second visit here. We, the adults love it for the peace and tranquility, the views and the walks from the site. Our boys love it for the football field and the games room with the pool table, table tennis and table football. Something for everyone!

Peace and Tranquility near Settle

Get off the A65 and enter the peace and quiet of the village of Rathmell, turn right up a tarmaced farm track and leave the hustle and bustle of Monday - Friday rat race behind. Reverse up to the electrics, wind the legs down, fill up with water, try to find the farm to book in! and enjoy a CL at its best. Farm and woodland views. All the usual facilities are easily accessible including recycling. Many of the delights of the Yorkshire Dales are within a few miles drive - Grassington, Settle, Skipton, Malham and Goredale, the Three Peaks, Ribblehead Viaduct, Hawes etc etc. the list goes on. Enjoy.

A superb site

What a great find! Just keep driving to the end of the lane once you turn off the road you will be well rewarded. We arrived Friday evening and pitched up. Useful information display at entrance to field including a list of produce that can be supplied by Rosemary. The whole site, including holiday cottages is immaculate. Basic facilities for the caravans but a lovely play area that the kids can share and an indoor play barn. Its only 4 miles into Settle which is a charming country town. We cycled to Gisburn Forest about 4.5 miles and used the forest trails. We also had a lovely couple of walks straight off the site as the farm is also on the Ribble Way long distance walk. We will be returning to this site again :o)
