Lovely site, but……

This is a lovely site, overlooking a fishing lake. Unfortunately, geese have moved in and the result is mounds of goose droppings, everywhere. The area to pitch is literally covered in droppings and we got it on our shoes every time we went outside. Even though the weather was nice, I didn’t want to get our chairs out and enjoy the sunshine. This is such a shame, as it’s a nice place to stay. Be warned.

Lovely site

Had a lovely stay here one weekend. The site is beautifully kept & is so peaceful. Will definitely return. Lovely cycle ride into Cleethorpes, although I would recommend sticking to the road the path via Tetany Lock was very bumpy unless you had off road bikes (which we don't) Site owner was very pleasant & had a folder full of information for use during your stay.

Better than expected

Nice greeting on arrival from James who gave us an informative welcome pack.. Very picturesque and peaceful site. For golfers, Tetney golf club is 1 mile away, with friendly members, a beautiful challenging course, good food and good beer. We will certainly use this site again. Highly recommended.

Relaxed and peaceful site

We spent a delightful four days on this very quiet site. Met up with the family for the first time in three months and this site surpassed our expectations in every way. Loved the efforts to provide environmentally friendly facilities and thoroughly enjoyed our first outing with our electric campervan.

Peace and quiet.

Had a lovely stay on this site, just four nights. The site is very secluded and lovely to walk around the grounds and fishing lake. The site is located close to the coast and there are plenty of places to visit in the area. James is a really likeable young guy and is doing well to keep the site going in the way I imagine his late father would have wished. His information booklet tells you all you need to know about the site and surrounding area.

Fab and relaxing Campsite

Just left this site today and already missing being there. Beautiful surroundings and a lake that you can fish in. I would definitely recommend this campsite, a wee gem and great value for money.

Perfect

Very secluded quiet site, even some of the locals don't know where it is. Short walk to the village where there is a Spar if you can't do without your daily paper. All grass pitches, electric but no wc or shower. You need your own bathroom. Large fishing lake, shared by a fishing club but there were only 2 or 3 club members there each day. You must use the landing nets provided to prevent the spread of disease but Jamie, the owner, had one ready for us on arrival. The fishing was great,a large variety of species Jamie also had an information pack which was very useful. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Stunning & relaxing retreat.

James was very helpful both in booking us in and greeting us as we arrived at the site. It was also nice to hear a brief history of the site and how his Dad created this beautiful little utopia. James is doing his Dad proud by continuing to maintain this stunning site and open it to CAMC members who have the privilege of staying here. No toilet block but not a problem to use our own facilities. We don't fish but appreciated the stunning view from our caravan, enhanced by a glass of champagne as the sun went down. It doesn't get much better than this. A little diamond of a discovery that we will be returning to.
