A great find!

Wasn't our first choice but, my goodness, it will be in future.  Great little site and so well created and maintained. Relaxed friendly welcome, everything worked. Firm level pitches. Great views (until a club member pitched right in front of us when there was a standing to the side and chucked some cable ties over the wall... grr...) but that was nothing to do with the site. Hebden Bridge and the local Hare and Hounds Pub (300m walk) are an absolute joy!

Enjoyable 3 night stay

Stayed here for 3 nights two weeks ago, easy to find 2 fields from the Hare and Hounds. Warm welcome from the owner, lovely views, peaceful, good walking area, Hebden Bridge is very nice as are the local pubs, the Hare and Hounds and the Robin Hood in Pecket Well. This site is well worth a visit.

Brilliant CL

We stayed four nights and will certainly return for a longer stay.  Mr & Mrs Benson have obviously gone to a great deal of effort to make the site a pleasure. The views are great with lots of lovely places to visit within a few miles, i.e. Bronte County, Saltaire, Hebden Bridge and more.

CL Gem

I think all the reviews say it all. It may be a tight fit with 5 vans and awnings etc. We went out of season with only 3 vans and it was perfect. The owners are really nice people. The Hare and Hounds is a real find with really good value homemade food with Timothy Taylor's beers kept to perfection.

Lovely Weekend in Yorkshire

What a cracking little site - from the moment we arrived everything was perfect.  The arrival and welcome from the owners was faultless - really friendly and welcoming.  The Hare and Hounds pub which is only a short walk is wonderful and great beer and home cooked food.  But perhaps most important of all are the views from this CL - they are wonderful.  We will be back - many thanks.

Highly recommended

We have just had 5 glorious days on this site. The views have to be some of the best in the Country. Mr and Mrs Brook go out of their way to be helpful. You are surrounded by interesting places to visit and as much walking as you can do. We will be back. p.s. the dogs were fine

Great Views

Spent last May bank holiday here. Can understand why not to use Sat Nav to arrive here when we went on days out, hairpin bends don't fully describe some of the roads! Site very peaceful and quiet to boot. Toilet block was clean. Owner very pleasant as was the welcome. Only drawback was our view was blocked by the caravan plus their Landrover that was parked horizontally in front of our pitch, though we did have one full day of unblocked scenery (when they left) and all I can say is wow, truly stunning and magnificent views of the Dales.

Peace and quiet with an amazing view

We have just returned from a two night break at Little Nook Farm. We arrived on a dark, very cold winters night. We managed to find the farm no problem with the directions in the book. Dont use the Satnav as this wants to take you to another farm. It was pitch black when we arrived and when we went to the outside tap to fill up our motor-home we found the tap had frozen up. Steve, the owner was great and couldnt help us enough. He managed to find a container and filled this up from the indoor tap where the shower and toilet are, so we could have some water overnight. We woke in the morning to an amazing view, despite it being winter and it trying to snow, the view from the site is amazing, we cant wait to go back and see it during the spring/summer. Steve was keeping an eye out for us getting up and as soon as he saw we were awake he came over to sort out getting us some more water. He had got an extra hose pipe and was going to attached this to his house tap so we could fill up the motor home, but strangely enough the tap on site had defrosted and we managed to fill it up from there. We were very grateful for Steve and all his efforts in helping us get sorted. He said this was the first time this had happened, and the caravans on site didnt have a problem as they filled their water barrels up from the tap in the shower room, but as we were a motor-home we could not do this, so Steve is going to get his thinking cap on and come up with something so motor-home users dont have this problem in future. The site is small and if each pitch is being used, some of the guests would have restricted views. There are a lot of walks directly from the site, so there is no problem exercising the dog. The farm has a couple of dogs, one young labrador took a liking to our dog and they spent quite some time running around and playing together. It was nice that we could let our dog run around the site as many sites dont like you to have your dog off the lead. Be warned, there are a lot of sheep and chickens in surrounding fields so you need to keep your dog under control. The farm also has horses and again these are in the fileds around the sites, so if you like horses you will love this farm. The other people on the site had been there all week with it being half terms and they had tried the two nearby pubs and said the food was very good in both of them. One is only a couple of minutes walk from the site, so quite ideal for those wanting to eat out and have a drink. You can walk down into hebden bridge if you want to leave your car on site, but it is quite a pull back up the hill. We will definiately go back to this site.
