Ease of arrival/welcome

First stay at Little Nook Farm

Initially booked on this site for two nights as unsure of our travel itinerary, but shortly after arriving decided to stay for four nights. When travelling to the site approaching from M62 do not turn up Luddenden Lane(as shown by both Satnav and Google as very tight windy road)... go through Hebden Bridge and take A6033 which is the Keighley Road and just before Robin Hood Inn take sharp right onto Akroyd Lane and follow through. We received a very warm welcome from the owner Stephen. The views are absolutely stunning and spoilt for choice with variety of walks. Bus service to Hebden Bridge every 30mins although we walked in. Word of warning it is quite a steep climb back to the site but after the fourth time it gets slightly easier! Hebden Bridge is a small but delightful Yorkshire town with good variety of shops and plenty of eateries. Small market on Thursday. The site is immaculate with wc and shower facilities. Despite some reviews to the contrary we found it absolutely fine and there is a mop and bucket to go over the floor after use. Fascinating watching the horses going back and forth to the stables at end of the day. All in all a fabulous site and we hope to return there. Highly recommended although hopefully we can get a space when we need it with all these brilliant reviews.
