Ease of arrival/welcome

Let down by cleanliness of the shower/toilet.

As everyone has said, this site is in the most stunning and peaceful location you could wish for. The access up from Hebden Bridge was a bit tricky, but okay and the pub down the road sells Timothy Taylor's ale and serves excellent food. The presentation of the five pitches was immaculate, even manicured. BUT, what a let down the toilet/shower was. It was filthy! Sorry, there is no other word to describe it. We stayed for a week and the open top bin in the toilet was never emptied (sanitary towels, wipes, nappies, etc?). The same dirt was all over the sink the whole time. In the corner was a mop and bucket with dirty water that didn't look as if it had been changed in weeks. Basic facilities are okay, but there is no excuse for their being dirty. Such a shame.
