Not to be missed!

Our stay at Little Orchard has been great, the welcome and attention to detail on this site is second to none. The pitches and site is immaculate, there is a small table and chairs at each pitch, information room, fresh eggs, offers of fresh bread and newspapers... what’s not to like! Very friendly site and the area is beautiful, do not write off West Norfolk, we spent three days cycling, Denver Sluice area offers river and glorious views with lots of birds. We heard our first cuckoo this year, saw lapwings from our pitch and enjoyed a good display from a Red Kite. We will certainly be returning.

What a gem

This is an amazing CL , there is a summer house with a TV and a Computer , loads of information about the area leaflets and a bonus of lovely fresh laid eggs from the chickens that roam about and you can order fresh baked bread which the owner makes and newspapers can be ordered for the next day . There is a garage within walking distance which supplies the basics and a local pub called The Falgate Inn really good food at reasonable prices . If you head towards Down Market you will come across a place called Denver it has lovely walks by the river and a great pub called Jernmny Inn lovely food and again reasonable prices . Lovely area for walking the dog from the site . The CL is a credit to the owners and I highly recommend this place . We have been here 3 times and will be back .

Wonderful little site. Amazing in fact

We stayed here for three nights but wished we had booked 14 nights we were welcomed by Caroline a lovely lovely lady who made us a lovely loaf of bread and we had fresh eggs from the gawjus chickens. Our little doggie was the best she’s been whilst away I think we all were so relaxed it has made us want to stay at CL sites always. The site was homely, welcoming and the little cabin was full of useful information we will certainly be back ASAP thank you Caroline.you sure are a wonderful host.

Fantastic site and even better host

I would like to keep this site a secret but that would be selfish. It is a fantastic site, dog friendly and full of chickens, ducks and Guinea fowl. I cannot rate Caroline the owner high enough. Apart from being a fantastic host she baked us snacks as treat and will bake you a fresh loaf if required. Caroline also proved herself to be a true friend helping us out in a very difficult situation. All being well we will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful site

Lovely site , spacious , quiet , pretty, and a very warm welcome from Caroline . We have been here a few times, and will keep returning . Plenty to do all around inc beaches, & sandringham , or just relax in a country pub for lunch . Lovely to see runner ducks chickens and Guinea fowl running freely . It goes without saying home made bread a newspaper , & eggs are a real bonus . Highly recommend .

A Lovely CL

Would agree with all that has been said about this site. We made a very late notice booking but the site owner quickly got back to us re availability. Site is located down a lane a very short distance from the A1122 so is very easy to get to. Pitches are well spaced out and reasonably level. Caroline is a most welcoming, friendly and obliging host. Being able to order newspapers, fresh home baked bread, and eggs is a bonus. Dog walking available from the site or we found Shouldham Warren a 10 minute drive a nice place to go which also allowed us to sample excellent Woodfordes Wherry (my personal favourite) at the local pub. Plenty to do in the locality with Downham Market only a few minutes away. Two happy caravanners and one very happy dog. The best recommendation is whether we would return - we definitely will.

A Gem in an Orchard

Stayed here for 6 nights and loved every minute.  So much to see and do Beaches, Walking, Historic Houses, Trip Down the Broads etc.  Caroline was the perfect owner, helpful (fabulous baked bread) and even obtained daily newspapers for you but never obtrusive. No hesitation in recommending.  Entrance a little tight (so hubby said) but not a problem.  Would love to return

Excellent site

First visit to this site easy to find. Cabin with TV and plenty of information of the area, short mowed grass, peaceful lots of birds, owners extremely welcoming also fresh baked bread and fresh eggs daily. Only one and hours from home so I'm sure we will visit again.

Welcoming and charming!

Full 5 stars for the site!!!! We enjoyed an excellent week. Well spaced pitches. Only downside is the tight turn into the site and poor signage for black drove turn, we missed it completely as it is only seen from one direction. Pleasant, hospitable hostess who makes brilliant bread, this gesture makes you feel at home immediately. TV cabin very comfy, nice touch. Hope to return.
