A lovely site

Llainfran is an immaculately kept site. The grass is regularly mown (and the clippings collected and removed), the shower is basic but clean with plenty of hot water. From the well-spaced pitches you have a view to the sea. Access to the site could not be easier with a wide opening into the site. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area.

Immaculate

Beautifully kept site in a great location. Toilets and showers really nice and chemical waste excellent. Recycling facilities are the best we have seen, all set up perfectly in one of the barns so you don’t get wet if it is raining. Gary was welcoming and friendly and informative. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Secret gem in Ceredigion

This was our second visit to Llainfran and it won't be our last. Jane and Gary are such welcoming yet discreet hosts and the site is perfect: a huge well-mown field with wonderful views of Cardigan Bay. Plenty of space between vans too.The facilities are basic but clean and accessible. The surroundings are beautiful: the Ceredigion Coastal Path is walking distance from the site and there are plenty of circular paths around as well as the useful Cardi Bach bus which runs between New Quay and Cardigan and stops at the crossroads just yards from the site, thus allowing for some longer stretches of coastal walking. The lovely village of Llangrannog is just a few miles away with great pubs and cafes and access to the site is very straightforward as long as you are comfortable with single track roads and passing places. We are already planning next year's visit and hope the secret of Llainfran won't get out too soon!

Relaxing & Peaceful

Very well kept site with rural & sea views. Walks straight from site & the onsite dog walk is great for a quick morning/evening stroll. Lots of local useful information available & the eggs are lovely! The Wifi signal is excellent. All you have to do when you're on this CL is relax & enjoy.

Great find

Booked here for the week and so glad we did. Piched up at the far end of the field with views over the bay. Great facilities on site and walks to nearby beach. We cannot fault this site and would love to return next year!

Perfection

We are sat here on our very spacious, well maintained pitch, using the free wifi to post this review whilst enjoying the sunshine, peace and quiet, and wonderful views of Cardigan bay. We have enjoyed outings to numerous local attractions, a really super evening soirée with the delightful hosts and family who provided a lovely meal in the old (now vacant) farmhouse, reminiscing about family holidays 30 plus years ago spent in the neighbouring field minus the now existent shower, toilets and electricity and we can't think of anything to say other than PERFECT!

Fantastic Site

One of our favourites with stunning views. Can walk to coast in 20 minutes. Pitch is on slope but owners provide blocks to help. Facilities good to include recycling. Tree swing for kids to play on. Local shop, need to drive, approx 1.5 miles away. Next farm sells vegetables and eggs. Enjoyed exploring the west of Wales. Owners pleasant. Thankyou!

Perfect peaceful site with awesome sunsets

Spent a week from 07 July on this wonderful site, arrived early afternoon and were met by Jane who showed us where to pitch. Very laid back about which way to pitch on the slightly sloping site with plenty of blocks available. The site is a good size allowing plenty of room between each unit; the toilet shower and rubbish point are a short walk across the field at the side of the house. Male and female toilets along with one separate electric shower (no extra charge), all facilities were kept clean and tidy during our stay. When we arrived there was lots of sea mist, so much that we couldn’t even see the sea, however the next morning the views out to sea were beautiful and we had no more mist during our stay, the sunsets every evening were to die for. It is an extremely peaceful site with almost no road noise and just the sounds of farm animals and birds in the background. Easy access to the coastal path for walkers, watch out for the path to the side of the church it is not well signposted. The beautiful coastal villages of Aberaeron and New Quay are a short drive away as are the lovely bays Llangrannog (park in the car park at the top of the hill and walk down to the bay) and Penbryn (National Trust car park and short walk to the bay). The National Trust property at Llanerchaeron is well worth a visit but beware the car park is locked around 5.30 so if like us you fancy a two mile walk into Aberaeron along an old railway track you may need to move your car to a lay-by about a quarter of a mile away. Jane and Gary are excellent hosts and although they have only recently taken over this site they are doing an excellent job and deserve every success in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone that is looking for some peace and quiet and if you love walking you really won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be returning and by the way did I mention the sunsets :-)

Wonderful Site with sea views

Booked off the back of glowing reviews from friends for May half term and we weren’t disappointed. The field is large with very spacious pitches which slope slightly but not a problem as lots of blocks around. Very peaceful with sea views, plenty of room for children to run and explore, with a rope swing that kept the young kids entertained for hours, together with the newly hatched chicks. For teenagers super fast Wi-Fi. Two separate w/c’s plus a single shower and a laundry room with washer and dryer. All very clean and tidy. Jane and Gary took over the site in March, they are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to seeing their future plans comes to fruition. We had a chance to look at the bedrooms in the B&B which were amazing and finished to a very high standard, would highly recommend to family and friends who don’t caravan. Enjoyed our time their so much we have already booked for next year!

Peaceful and Fantastic Views

Spent 14 nights here from July to August. With family. We were greeted on arrival by the very friendly Michael and had the choice of 5 pitches, yes the site is sloping and it does say it on the app and website, but we found it easier to pitch length ways which was more suited to our caravan. the toilets and shower are ok and clean. the site is kept immaculate very well looked after by Michael and big on recycling, never seen so much that could be recycled.. the dog walk was great for early mornings and evenings plus our pup could enjoy the freedom of being off the lead with us knowing she was safe within it. Beautiful views from the site and very very quiet. Our granddaughters enjoyed playing on the swing and feeding the chickens and guinea pigs with EVIE Michaels granddaughter. Plus there were lots of information for us in the guinea pig and information room from woodland and coastal walks with maps available from Alison, to great place to visit books, games dvds etc and restaurants.. Great pity they are selling up and hope the new owners carry on with how it has been successfully run by Michael and Alison. Would we stay again, most definitely so many more surrounding places for us to explore
