Just Stunning

This has got to be the best view we have had in 12 years caravanning/ motorhoming. Absolutely Stunning. short walk down coast path to beautiful Abercastle and some of the best coast path scenery around. came at the right time to see all the seal pups learning how to swim and being fed on the little cove beaches.. could do with extra CL sign as when we arrived gate was open and no sign to say at right place. we did turn around but luckily spoke to other motorhomers on the site to say was at right place. Grass could have done with being cut but they are just little things. would definitely return just for the views.

A superb CL

Great views and warm hospitality from our hosts. We had a most relaxing stay over six nights at end July/early August. Dog friendly Abercastle Beach is walking distance and 2 mins in the car. We used beach to launch our inflatable canoe and spent several hours paddling around the bay and near coastline. Returned to Longhouse for a much earned late breakfast/brunch cooked on our caravan BBQ ! Super walks from the site. Like others, we will be back............

Longhouse

Can one find a better CL site than Longhouse with its superb views and scenery, not too remote but offering total peace and quiet, wonderful walks along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path only a few minutes away, excellent site facilities with local shopping nearby, sunrises and sunsets to die for - very very unlikely! Mairra and Andrew were obliging and helpful hosts and made us feel very welcome. My wife and I (and our dog) have just enjoyed a wonderful few days and didn't want to leave. We will be back for a longer stay I have absolutely no doubt.

Beautiful location

Lovely quiet site with fantastic views of this spectacular part of the Pembrokeshire coast. The site is great for dogs as there are many walks. Access to the site is along some narrow lanes but they are not busy. The recycling facilities are excellent.

Fabulous site

Absolutely fabulous little site in a beautiful part of Pembrokeshire. Amazing views from the site which was spacious and well kept. Easy access to the coastal path and a nearby harbour. This is a quiet rural site great for walkers, cyclists and kayaking; the owners are friendly and helpful.

The best CL in 9 years caravanning.

Wow. What can we say. The view alone from our van is priceless. Very helpful and friendly owner. This part of the Pembrokeshire coast is absolutely stunning. We don’t think it can be beaten for walking on the coast path with incredible views. We saw Porpoise and seals as we walked from St Justinian to St Non. Fish and chips at The Shed in Porthgain a must. For adults and children a visit to the Bug Farm just outside of St David’s. Such an interesting place. Very friendly and the food too is very tasty. You’d never know you were eating bugs. Everywhere is so quiet. Walk 20 minutes from the van in the evening to see the beautiful sunsets. We’ve had a fabulous two weeks. A mixture of weather but that never stops us and it is Wales after all. Don’t rely on weather forecast when you’re so close to coast cos the reality is often different.

A stunning CL

Excellent week spent at Longhouse. The owners are charming, extremely helpful and maintain the site very well. The views are spectacular and the coastal walks accessible from the site. Whilst the approach roads are narrow in places there are plenty of passing opportunities and trouble free to access the site.

Love Stay

We have just returned from a lovely two week stay. Mrs Raymond is a lovely lady, nothing is too much trouble, there if required but not intrusive in any way. The site itself is a basic well run CL with plenty of room between each pitch. The view over the sea is magnificent as are the sunrises. There is a short walk to the coastal path although the walk to Abercastle is quite steep in places.. You can also use the road to walk to Abercastle which is much easier There is a small shop at the petrol station on the main A road, with larger supermarkets in Haverfordwest and a Coop in Fishguard. If you want a site that is very quiet, peaceful and with beautiful views this is the site to go too. We shall return.

Amazing views

The views from this site as well as the access to the coastal path make this CL special and is the reason we returned to it for a second time. It has all the basics but, as on our first visit, we would have appreciated the grass being a little shorter and some trouble to be taken, for example, in strimming around the taps. We felt that a welcome to the site was missing. The owner lives adjacent although we didn't see her until we sought her out at the end of our 10 night stay. Just a 'hello' would have been appreciated.

Unforgettable views

We stayed at Longhouse for 8 nights from 7th September. On arrival we could not believe the beautiful views from our caravan. The best we have ever had. Mrs Raymond was very welcoming, and the site well cared for. With white posts showing where to park between, it gave plenty of space between caravans. It is well placed for visiting St David's and taking the beautiful walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast. Sadly we live 6 hours away from this beautiful area but hope to visit again very soon, and especially Longhouse.
