Site was cl of the month in the club magazine and it did deliver.  At first site a bit rough and ready but once set up proved to be an ideal place. Of the 4 hard standings on only 1 would it be difficult to erect an awning.  Levelling blocks are needed on all pitches.  Grey waste is not a problem - as we most often do on CLs we buried our 5 metre waste pipe extension in the rough grass and from then on it looked after itself.  Views all round.  Handy for Teesdale where the Bowlees Visitor Centre has all the information you are likely to need as well as helpful staff.  Site is also close to Barnard Castle.  We also took a trip to Killhope lead mine which was extremely interesting.  Had a super evening meal at Cafe 1618.
