So pleased we went back

After checking the availability and reviews on ukcampsites(it’s a few years since our last visit), I gave Tracey a quick call and booked us in for a cheeky night away. The welcome is warm, the views are to die for, the facilities(two family rooms, plus another loo) are modern and immaculate. I almost don’t wish to gush too much as I’d always want a pitch free for me now I’ve a bit more time to tour. Many pitches have a slight slope, but we’ve an 8m Motorhome and managed to level on a set of Triple Milenco. The grass around the hard standing pitches is extremely generous, so much so a visitor arriving after us drove onto the grass between us and our neighbour, I believe thinking it was another pitch!! In addition they also have a B&B on site. Perfect for those non-vanning friends and family. So glad we came back and can’t wait to pop up there again very soon.

Just what you need from a CL

This was my second visit to Low Hall, The views from the site are stunning so much so i took friends with me this time and they were also over the moon with the site. Tracy is very friendly and approachable also as my visit was just after lockdown she was very informative about every thing. Can't wait till i go again.

Brilliant Site always made welcome

Tracy is a brilliant site owner who keeps the site and facilities immaculately and there is always a cheerful welcome. The showers are always hot and plentiful with a WC and wash basin included in the very large heated shower rooms. Yes each shower is in a room, not a cubical and has more than enough room to shower and dress while keeping everything dry. The views are second to none and we love staying here. Previous reviewers have mentioned workers using the site, other peoples dogs and noisy animals. To them I would like to say that there is a CL and a public site adjacent to each other. The public site is of course, open to all. Workers who are members can use any club CL and are responsible for their own behaviour. Our club rules are that dogs are the owners responsibility but please note that the site description prohibits visitors dogs. As for noisy animals, this is the countryside and the site description states that it has live stock, beef and sheep. I would say to anybody please ignore the negative comments of these reviewers and make your own mind up when you stay at this beautiful rural farm site.

Everything we needed.

Beautifully kept site with the added bonus of showers and toilets kept spotlessly clean. The site was mainly set to grass with hard standings which had great views all round. We spent most of our time visiting the various Lakes. The weather wasn't the best but the scenery is spectacular. After three days we were on our way to Scotland in very wet weather. If we are in the area in future we would certainly consider staying at Tracey's very well kept site. Thanks Tracey and your very friendly dogs.

Excellent stay as always

Used this site on quite a few occasions now. Always made to feel welcome. Scenery is stunning site very well kept as are toilets and showers. Easy access to southern lakes and market town of Ulverston. What more could any one want from a CL.

Lovely quiet site

Lovely well kept, spacious site, toilets etc all immaculate - a very good site indeed. Views are spectacular. Tracey met us shortly after arrival and also took the trouble to knock on before we went - much appreciated. Thanks for a great stay.

Great Stay here

Just back from a lovely stay here in our motorhome Beautiful surroundings and view Plenty of room around us for sitting out Shower block clean and warm with lovely showers (just cold feet & no soap) Just be nice to have wifi, but we managed fine without :-) Easy check-in & out, even the resident dogs were friendly! Would definitely return, thankyou for having us!

A lovely peaceful site

This is a lovely, peaceful site in a beautiful location with fantastic views across the Duddon Estuary and out to sea. The toilet and shower facilities were modern, spacious and spotless with free, hot showers. There are a number of footpaths and quiet lanes leading from the site for walks through the beautiful countryside and the surrounding villages. A warm welcome was received on arrival from Tracey and the three friendly farm dogs kept popping by the caravan to say hello throughout my stay. I will certainly come here again and look forward to exploring more of the area.

Great Site, Great Location

Peaceful site with great views. Excellent facilities. Lots to do in the area. Highly recommend this site. Yes this is a CL 5 site but the owners have their own small 5 site next to it. For me it does not spoil the CL experience.

One of the best.

Great facilities, Quiet with great views. Just keep your dogs on a lead! Lots of sheep near by. Easy footpath access to the village of Kirkby in Furness. Good pubs and a shop in walking distance. Great base for exploring the lakes. Care needed if entering via Greenod/spark bridge. Some single track sections on road. But fine if taken with care. Basically don't proceed until you can see it's clear to the next passing place. Wagons use this route. Access via Askham easier. Wide gated access to site itself for large rigs. May return to this one!
