Stayed here the last two New Year's. The site has hard standing pitches, all with electric hook ups and a nice clean and heated shower block with 4 loos and 2 showers/wet rooms so great facilities for a CL. The owner is very friendly/welcoming but as this is a working farm you are very much left to get on with your stay etc. On arrival pitch up and the owner will come down from the farm at some point during your stay. We found the Ship Inn to be a nice little village pub, about a mile walk away in Kirkby-in-Furness. The site's location makes it ideal for exploring the South Western Lakes and in particular the Duddon valley. Overall a great value site with good facilities.
