Couldn't want for more

Many thanks to Andre and Judith we had a wonderful holiday. The grass is mown regularly the toilet and shower were always immaculate. The information room has plenty to offer. Bus stop within walking distance to visit places as far away as Southwold and Norwich plus many more destinations. A must place to return. Many thanks, Judith and Peter

Attention to detail.

Every aspect of the site and facilities are excellent. Great location with bus services within minutes from the site giving connections to explore the area. The owner was very welcoming we will definitely return.

Lovely small site

Just had a lovely long weekend at Lowlands. The site is beautifully maintained and very secure. the toilet and shower facility were cleaned regularly throughout the day with plentiful hot water. It had been raining hard before our arrival so the site was a little 'boggy' in parts but Andre met us on arrival and directed us to a dry spot and made sure we were all settled in safely. We walked into Beccles through the fields and along the river with our dog - this took about 40 mins and then walked back along the road (pavement all the way) which took around 20 mins. We also called in to the Swan motel pub for a drink and were made very welcome. We also visited Framlington Castle , Leiston Abbey and Dunwich Beach (very dog friendly), If I were pushed the only thing I would suggest that could improve the Lowlands site would be the provision of a pot washing up facility - but this really wasn't a major issue . I would certainly recommend the site to others

Exceptional CL

We have recently returned from our second trip to this wonderful CL. It was just as excellent as we remembered! From the warm welcome given by Andre and Judith (freshly laid hens eggs in hand) to the pitch layout, thoughtfully furnished information shed, spotless toilet and shower, and accessibility to Beccles and further. We walked, cycled, went on a boat down the river and generally made the most of the lovely quiet site and area. There is so much to do and explore. The week went far too quickly. We have already booked for next year and simply cannot recommend Lowlands CL highly enough.

Stay at lowlands cl

Just spent another fantastic stay at Lowlands cl. Cant praise Judith and Andre enough. These lovely people run one of our favorite sites. This site is kept immaculate at all times. Beautifully clean shower and toilet. Lovely site for visiting Norfolk and Suffolk just up the road from the pretty little town of Beccles. The welcome we receive from Judith and Andre is some thing else. Highly recommend a visit you wont be disappointed. Camping at its best. Mick and Helen

What a find!

Firstly the welcome from the lovely Judith and Andrè was so warm and friendly we felt at home immediately. We are new to Caravanning and we absolutely commend them both for the help and advice we’ve received… and also the freshly laid eggs! The site is easy to access from the main road and has a chicken enclosure on site. Level grass pitches where ponies, including a Shetland can be seen in the opposite field. A very peaceful site yet only a five minute walk to the local pub and a similar distance to the new Gillingham Services. An established pathway across a field leads directly to KFC and McDs plus a handy Londis. All the main supermarkets are a very short drive away too. We loved the town of Beccles and we used our SUPs on the river Waveney, setting off from The Lock Inn, a very popular community run pub directly on the river. There’s a wealth of lovely places close by but, and I’m sure you’ll understand… it’s still a novelty for us so we enjoy days spent relaxing by our caravan. Highly recommend this adult only site which has a fantastic modern and ultra clean shower room with toilet facilities.

Mature Couple

Excellent site. Easy access from A146. Good welcome from owner. Flat pitch. Excellent free wi-fi. Bus stop within 3 minutes walk, with buses to Norwich, Lowestoft and Southwold; from Norwich buses all over Norfolk. We did not use our car at all except to get petrol from Morrisons in Beccles, another very easy journey.

First but not last visit

Just returned from 15 nights at Lowlands, had a fabulous holiday. Anton is on hand to welcome guests , he and Judith are lovely hosts, always around to pass the time of day or to give advice on the local area. The pitches are huge and the lawn well mown, we had some rain overnight and the ground was very well drained. Pitches get the sun all day. Excellent WIFi. Great dog walks from site. Nice walk into Beccles. Excellent for Motorhome as the bus stop is only a few minutes walk from the site, information room with bus timetable etc. Toilet and shower were spotless and cleaned daily. Highly recommend this site for long stays. We had such brilliant weather which made for a lovely stay. We will return

Excellent site, owners and location.

We stayed here in late June for 3 nights, and wished we could have stayed longer, From booking to arrival the owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. Super clean facilities and grounds with free WiFi ( Note C & MHC) Lovely quiet location just a mile from Beccles. Lots to see and do in the area, and the owners are a wealth of local knowledge. Great cycling through the quiet lanes to local villages and places of interest.
