Lyons Farm

Having stayed on this CL more than a dozen times in the past few years I think I am more than qualified to write this review. Firstly the owners are among the friendkiest people we have had the pleasure of meeting during our first five years of caravaning, always willing to chat, help with any problems one may have and are altogether very genuine people. The site itself is kept in very good shape albeit fairly basic. If you want to stay on a CL that offers all the basics but has excellent access to all the local attractions and is at the same time very tranquil. The birds are abundant on this almost back to nature site whilst attractions both big, Liverpool, and small, Maghull, are readily to hand. The Indian restaurant mentioned on the web page is well worth a visit. We have tried eat in and take away with the former recommended. If you want a nice quiet, peaceful few days we commend you to pay a visit to Chris and Jean.
