GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY

A secluded site at the end of a village country lane, offers flat pitches with open views across farmland. A well positioned site as an overnight stay for travelling on the A1M. Adjacent to the CL is a small area for long stay caravanners. Water supply with easy access, 16 amp electricity, no tap at Elsan disposal point but a bucket is provided for rinsing water. Did not use the WC. Bedale, 2 miles away offers a good range of shops and small supermarkets with a local community bakery as seen on tv. Further afield lies Northallerton, Richmond and Leyburn leading into the Dales, the workplace for Gervaise Phinn (school inspector and author) and James Herriott (vet) The Wensleydale railway starts at Leeming Bar stopping at Bedale with it’s terminus at Redmire looking acrosss to Penhill is well worth a trip. For Geocachers there are quite a few finds locally. We were there in April 2014, £8 pn inc. EHU, we think good value for the money and recommend this site.
