Fab CL

Just returned from a 2 week holiday at the CL - what a gem! The owners keep the CL immaculate and are very welcoming. Lots of space for kids to play and so much to do in the area to keep every age occupied (our party was 7yrs - 76yrs). This will definitely be on our favourites list for a return visit.

Peaceful Haven

Had a gorgeous two weeks here last month! 5 miles from home yet felt like a million! Total relaxation with stunning views! Lovely walks directly from site especially for dogs (our cat loved it too) Used all our own facilities but there is a toilet for a nominal extra if you require! Lovely welcome from owners Chris and Clare! We will definitely be making a regular local retreat.

A little gem

A very warm welcome from Claire who made sure we knew where to go and what to do. With regard to the previous review regarding the narrow roads if you follow the CC books instructions, it is not a problem.Awe tow a 26ft twin axle and it was fine. The only reasoning we marked it down on peace and tranquility was that we had some very inconsiderate neighbours who partied until 2 am!    However that is not the sites fault. I would highly recommend this site, brilliant dog walk too!

Tranquillity

This is a nice site on what has to be described as a lawn not a field we stayed during high winds and lots of rain but the surface stayed firm. Several large towns in the area each with its own character the problem is the narrow roads used to approach the farm. There is a pub / restaurant which is a bike ride away and one closer within easy walking distance which was being refurbished.
