Fantastic stay

Laura greeted us on arrival with a lovely complementary gift of goodies . I have never had this on a site before and it was a lovely touch. Site was well maintained and plenty of space between each caravan. Each pitch is separated with a lovely fence giving plenty of room for awning and car. Jim came and checked that we had settled ok and to introduce himself. What a lovely couple and lovely site. Perfect for out and about and Paddock Wood is a 5 minute drive providing everything you need with a Tesco express and Waitrose and plenty of other little shops and takeaways and railway station. Had a fantastic week

The warmest of welcomes!

Generous hearted owners of a clean, well laid out and run site. Individual elec, water tap and grey water arrangement is a big bonus. Well spaced out plots and plans for continuing enhancement. A great location. Laura and James well deserve top scores all round for their new venture with this CL. Most appreciated.

Delightful little site

We booked two nights here and must say very much enjoyed it. Lovely peaceful location , with just the birds tweeting to wake up to. Basic facilities with no wash or toilet on site , but chemical toilet disposal is available Laura and James , the owners, are a lovely couple and made us feel very welcome indeed with a lovely basket of goodies to enjoy whilst there. Would definitely recommend and return if in the area again

Perfect

Just returned from a 3 night stay and everything about Mile Oak is just perfect. From the initial enquiry about availability to the meet and greet with a welcome pack which was lovely, nothing seemed like too much trouble. Pitch sizes are good each one having its own electric and water supply. Very secure site with access via large wooden gates. Key fob given to you on arrival. It is a twenty minute walk to Paddock Wood train station which we did twice during our stay, catching the train to Maidstone and London. A Waitroise supermarket is next to the station. Laura and Jim are great hosts and we hope to return soon and explore more of the area.

Wonderful, peaceful and welcoming!

We are at the end of a relaxing, peaceful six night stay at the Mile Oak CL. Laura and Jim gave us a very warm welcome, taking us to our pitch and making sure that we were OK. Their welcome pack gift was a splendid and useful surprise to start the holiday! Laura and Jim have been extremely informative about the local area and they gave us some really helpful suggestions of places we might wish to visit, without imposing, We visited a number of local National Trust properties and Bedgebury Forest in our car. Paddock Wood is an easy walk away and we had a great meal at Simla curry house. This new, quiet and extremely well maintained CL has individual ehu’s, water and grey waste, with views overlooking fields. Wonderful site that definitely deserves five out of five!

Warm Welcome

Just back from 3 nights at this lovely site. Jim and Laura greeted us with the widest smiles and a welcome pack. After introductions, Jim walked with us to our pitch, which was a good size, and a lovely post and rail fence separated each space. EHU and drinking water supplied, chemical disposal and rubbish bins, all area's clean and tidy. Site secure, accessed by electric gates, and all very peaceful. Heard owls at night, geese passing over at dusk, and woke up to various songbirds, and even the rain bouncing off the Moho roof could not dampen our enjoyment. Jim and Laura were both helpful with local knowledge of good walking areas, with footpaths and pubs along the way. Great Sunday lunch at The Halfway House pub, recommend a visit. We had our dog with us and an area available on site to exercise him on lead was great. This site is evolving as it's fairly new, but with these two lovely people at the helm, it will tick many people's boxes and we hope to revisit soon. Lesley and Nick.

Warm welcome received at a secure, peaceful site

Laura and Jim have worked hard to create a great hideaway location. It is quiet and away from road noise ensuring a good night's sleep. Each pitch has hardstanding with exclusive access to electric hook-up and water stand-pipe and plenty space between units. We had no qualms about leaving our van all day as the secure access ensures no-one passes through the automatic gates without Laura and Jim's approval. The site is well placed for visiting the local area too with good road connections. We visited in February and you know that this place is well thought of by the near full capacity. We expect to have to book up well in advance on our next visit to Kent as this is such a gem of a place. Thank you Laura and Jim for your exceptional customer care. Well done.

Brilliant stay

We spent 6 brilliant nights at the peaceful Mile Oak CL near Paddock Wood, Kent. What a lucky find for us, as we needed somewhere to stay near our previous home, in order to visit many old friends and neighbours. It almost felt like we were back home in Kent. Laura and Jim are the best hosts we have ever encountered in our 30 years of Caravan club membership. They were so welcoming and helpful, the secure gated site and spacious hard standing with your own water and electric point were an added bonus. We will definitely be back. David and Frances

Lovey peaceful caravan site

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights which went far too quickly as we had lots more places to visit within the local area. The owners were so friendly and we were given a welcome pack on arrival which was so kind and appreciated. The pitches were very spacious and we had our own electric hook up and water supply which was great. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, chilling out and walking our dog, other caravaners were also friendly. Owners were around if we needed anything. Excellent security. Can’t fault the site and looking forward to spending more time here throughout the year. Chris and Linda
