An excellent CL in all ways

Five stars to Sasha for her warm welcome. This is the first CL owner in East Anglia who has come out and greeted us on arrival, handing us a folder of information on local sights. The field is spacious, level, has easy access to water and black water dumping even for a motorhome like ours which uses a pipe rather than a cassette. Chickens wander around, but the cockerel was having a lie-in the mornings we were here. Also easy access to and from the nearby A12 (can't hear any traffic, though) and the beautiful tourist spots of the coast from Felixstowe to Lowestoft. Especially nice is the fact there is cheap wifi, somehing that should by now be standard at all sites.

Nice CL

Spent 3 nights at Molletts Farm.  This is a small gated field with EHU and one drinking water tap, normal recycling and black waste.  Wifi was consistent and good strength from my pitch.  Payment can be made by card which was a bonus.  There are no toilets or showers.  The A12 is close by but noise wasn't an issue.  Care should be exercised when leaving the CL as the farm entrance is quite close to a bend and the speed of some of the traffic is excessive.  Two slight negatives is a. The grass isn't collected at cutting and b. Blooming peacocks shouting at 4.30 in the morning by comparison the chickens are a sweet choir! Plenty of wildlife on the site Including a wrens nest in one of the EHU cabinets.

Great CL

We stayed here for four nights between the 17th and 21st March. The location of the CL is very good, near the A12 and ideally situated for taking in the local attractions. The facilities were excellent and the owners welcoming. What more can one want?! They also offer holiday cottages which are beautifully furnished.Ideal for the non caravanning side of the family to use whilst you stay in your own mobile cottage

Lovely CL

We only needed an overnight stay and chose this site because it was very close to our destination. I wish we could have stayed longer! The CL itself is very private and enclosed and much quieter than you would think being so conveniently placed near the A12. We were warmly welcomed by Richard even though we didn't arrive until 9pm and had to leave early the next morning. I would certainly recommend this site to others and we will definitely go back but for longer next time

You really need to pitch here!

This lovely CL hit all the right buttons in every respect. The owners go to every trouble to make sure that you feel welcome and have an information pack that beats many Club Sites, containing just about all the info that you could need. We spent a very relaxed week at this site and are very grateful for the excellent site - every credit to Richard & Sasha.

A great CL!

We stayed on this CL from June 1st. To the 16th. This is what we would say is a model CL. Lovely views, within walking distance of a fantastic farm shop with butchery and fishmonger, flat site, lovely welcome complete with a comprehensive pack containing information on most local places of interest, good TV reception and WFi and located within a short drive of many places of interest including Aldbough, Snape and the maltings and Minsmere. The only down comment I would make is the size of the site. It is a bit small for its square shape and can lead to vans being a bit too close. Perhaps pitch position numbers could help this. A great site managed by people who really think about it. Thank you.

Spectacular Suffolk Sunsets

Arriving at Mollets’ Farm (‘MF’) could not be easier. A wide clearly signed entrance off the A12 leads to a short straight single track – with good visibility – that enters into a large car park. A few yards to the right is the entrance to the CL section of MF. We are a 9m-twin axle motorhome and managed our entrance with ease. You will receive a warm welcome from Sasha and Richard that includes a welcome information pack (local phone numbers, attractions, etc.). The CL site is level with well cared for grass. MF adopts an informal ‘pitch where you like’ and there are hook-ups that are easily reachable with a standard 25m EHU cable. Water, ESLAN and waste (including recyclable) is all fenced in a nice area. Grey waste can also be deposited amongst the hedgerows. One comment, the Caravan Club website states there is a ‘Motorhome waste service point’ – this is not the case. Within ten steps you join the local public footpaths and the 35 acres of MF – therefore, this is a great CL for dog lovers / walkers; plus a good base to visit Suffolk / Norfolk – at £12.00 per night I would say good value for money. Note: You cannot hear the A12 from the CL, TV reception works fine, Vodafone and O2 mobile networks have a good reception; and there are very good laundry facilities. This CL is now on our ‘must return to’ list (especially as it is just an hour from home). However, one suggestion would be for MF to create an area for one / two hard-standing pitches as like others we are all year motor-homers and would like to visit in winter months, with confidence that a wet field would not bog us in. To conclude, providing you do not mind using your own facilities this is a must visit.

highly recommended

We stayed at this CL over Easter and can thoroughly recommend it.  The owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly and gave us an information pack on arrival full of leaflets on the nearby attracfions.  They also have holiday cottages on site so families can also go with you if they don't have their own van. Would definitely go back.

Excellent C.L

A really great flat CL run by Sasha and Richard, who go out of their way to ensure your stay in Norfolk will be memorable. The CL is on the A12 which means it's has very easy access, and down a long drive which means traffic noise is not a problem. Saxmundham is nearby and has 2 supermarkets, and the beautiful Norfolk coast is a short car ride away.
