Please cut the grass

We have just returned from molletts farm after a ten night stay. Nice welcome on arrival, central location for touring suffolk. However we found the site to be very small, advertised as half an acre but compared to other cl's it must be a misprint and be quarter of an acre. The grass had not been cut on our arrival and even after ten days stay they still did not cut it We do appreciate a site with short grass. No excuses hardly any rain. Lots of wildflower areas around site that's fine, but we do appreciate a neat cl .Marked down for peace and tranquility as they had a noisy peacock squarking during the daytime.

A wonderful experience

On arrival we were warmly greeted by Mrs Ayers who provided us with a welcome pack. An excellent situation for many interesting places locally. The free WiFi worked well and although we have shared on club sites for the 49+ years of membership, this and the previous stop at Boxted CL has changed our view about staying on . Other visitors were very friendly on both sites and the service provided were most acceptable. We would recommend the site to other members. Well done Mr & Mrs Ayes.

A warm welcome awaits.

We have just spent five most enjoyable days at Mollett’s Farm CL and wouldn’t hesitate to return when visiting the area. We were greeted upon our arrival by both Sasha & Richard with a large folder of information regarding visitor attractions in the local area and were made to feel very welcome. The CL’s facilities are very well arranged with a total of 8 electric hook-ups providing a variety of locations For use around the field which is adjacent to the holiday cottages and studios also operated by Mr & Mrs Ayers. There is a quality and efficiency about the whole business that makes this a superb location. Excellent strength WiFi is free of charge and there is a laundry for use by visitors for a small fee. The location is ideal for visiting all the attractions mentioned in ‘Why Stay Here’ above, facilitated by easy access directly from the A12 which is sufficiently distant to ensure there is no obtrusive road noise. Highly recommended.

Well run, peaceful CL

Easily approached via a long drive from the main road meaning what little road noise was unobtrusive. Efficient online booking system that the proprietors also use for their holiday cottage business that is run from the site. Warmly met on arrival and given an information pack for the local area. The site offers 16 amp hook up with access to bins, chemical disposal point and fresh water supply being straightforward. Site well placed for accessing local footpath networks and there is also a well stocked farm shop in easy walking distance. We enjoyed two nights at Molletts Farm walking out from the site to explore the local countryside and surrounding villages. There are a number of good dog friendly pubs in the area and we would not hesitate in returning to this friendly and welcoming site.

Wonderful

Lovely to be greeted on arrival with a folder of information, not only about the site but also the surrounding area and suggestions on where to go and what to see. The site is in an ideal area with some beautiful villages and coastal areas, all within 20 minutes drive. With instant access on to the A12 nowhere is too far. The site is smaller than some (they were fairly full most of our two weeks there but it never felt crowded and was very peaceful). but has everything you need, hook-up, disposal and water, plus access to washing machine if needed, and a small information area with books and DVD's to borrow. We picked here due to its proximity to RSPB Minsmere and the many marshes to see birdlife, we were not disappointed. Would recommend for nature lovers and walkers, a wonderful site, we will be back. Loved the easy online booking and the website, as Molletts farm also has self catering cottages it is ideal for none caravanning family too.

Fantastic CL

This is an amazing site, one that we come back to time and time again. The location is fantastic for touring the Suffolk coast and quiet enough for relaxing by your 'van. You really couldn't ask for more.

Quiet and lovley

This CL has no WC or Shower but the water tap is close by along with chemical disposal point and recycling. We sited ourselves as instructed and the owner came later and gave us a very useful pack of tourist information to keep for the duration of our stay. The site is easy to reach from the main road. It is very well maintained, peaceful and within walking distance of Friday St farm shop and restaurant (and the car boor on Sundays).
