Class

Arieved at the site to a very warm welcome from the owners. Great pitch looking over the lakes with electric and water also hard standing but plenty of room. Toilets and shower are the best I have seen with seperate Toilets for the fishermen. At night time when the sun is setting, the view over the lakes are stunning, take some pictures very quiet and peacefull. Great to walk around the lakes and watch the fishermen catching the fish 20lb 30lb and above big fish. The pub at the bottom of the road do very good food and big portions well worth a visit, but I do advise to book as it gets full. You also get a 10% discount if staying at the site. I would recomend this site to anyone.

The perfect hosts

When we arrived we were greeted by Karen who made us feel at home and very welcome. We were given the guided tour of the facilities, which are superb, they are lovely, clean and newly installed. The fisherman have their own loos and the campers loos and locked, a key is provided. Please don't let the fishing ponds put you off, we are not at all interested in fishing but the location of the pitches are so nice looking across to the ponds. It actually became quite interesting knowing if anyone had caught a fish. Both Gary and Karen are superb hosts and it was actually so nice to see Gary catch a fish in the end! This is a site we would certainly go back too, very highly maintained with an eye for detail. Well done Gary & Karen, keep it up!

A HIDDEN GEM.

I have just returned from here having survived the "Beast from the East" winter storm and I can't think of a better place I'd rather be stranded at with my caravan! Tucked away in a quiet corner of Boston this new site is certainly top of my list on CL's. If there are any CL owners looking to upgrade or set up a site you should really take a look at this one! The owners, Karen and Gary are so down to earth and I was made to feel welcome the moment I drove on site. Pitching was easy, all level hardstandings, and each pitch had it's own electric and water. The view was exceptional overlooking the lakes. The ladies really was like home from home! Although there was only one it was set out like a shower room having basins, toilet, level floor shower suitable for wheelchair users, heater, towel rail and all fixtures in chrome and diamanté! Stunning! certainly not your average camp site ladies. There are 2 large lakes for fishing but as they were mostly frozen while I was there, there wasn't any going on, but having seen some of the photo's there are some very large prize fish in there! I can't recommend this site highly enough and as Camper owners and Club members themselves Karen and Gary certainly seem to have got it right.

Friendly welcome at smart site

We only stayed one night at this site, but we were struck by the warmth of the welcome from the owners, who did everything to make sure that we enjoyed the stay. This is a new site, and has been constructed to a high standard. The toilet facilities had not quite been finished at the time of our visit, but the ladies was extremely smart, and we have no doubt that the block will soon be finished off in similar fashion. The site is by lakes which are well used by anglers, but they have their own toilet facilities, and those we used were exclusive to camping visitors, with key control. The pitches are large, and are hardstanding. We would thoroughly recommend this site.
