Not a pretty site, as the five hard standing pitches are on the grass along the drive in to the farm, grass could of done with a cut. Those are the bad points, £10 a night for a site with  electric hook up and toilet is a brilliant price. It's just 2.3 miles from Morrison's and Penrith castle ruins, Aldi and railway station not far away. When we were there 4_8 June, Appleby horse fair was on, we caught the bus at the bus station and left the car in their car park, it was easy and saved us £10 on Appleby car park.  This site is also close to Ullswater in the lakes and pretty villages, I would recommend for short stays
