Pleasant CL on working farm

Level pitches on grass which is on well drained stony ground so you’ll need steel awning pegs. Access is easy: straight from the main road into wide concrete drive for 100m then onto wide gravel track for 100m then into CL. This is a working farm but the CL field is exclusively for the CL so no livestock or machinery. The CL field is elevated surrounded by trees so sheltered with views. CL is less than 5 minutes walk from the edge of town which has a good range of shops for essentials: Spar, Co-op and Nisa and others. From the CL a track leads to footpaths through farm fields and alongside the river and into Sanquhar and joining the long-distance Southern Upland Way. There is often livestock in these fields. CL is well maintained: grass cut, good facilities for water, bins and waste. Owner has attached planting troughs to fences around CL which were full of flowers when we were there. This is our second visit and I would like to visit again. The owners permit a couple of their friends to pitch on the side of the gravel track leading to the CL. At the time of writing the first photo on the website is of the gravel track and one of those outfits: not the actual CL. Third photo is the bank blow the CL. Fourth is the fields blow the CL at river level. Fifth is the track from the CL leading down to those fields adjacent to the river which is well used by dog walkers staying on the CL.
