Little Gem

Very well maintained with nice little private areas created cleverly using conifers. Spotless toilet and shower. Very nice coarse fishing within a couple of miles (Birds Green Fishery). The owner, Mrs Osborn, leaves you to yourself and trusts you to leave the money in an envelope. Pubs are a drive (approx 3 miles in any direction). There are some lovely walks direct from the site. A convenience store is about a mile away. Extremely peaceful site.

Good facilities on this site.

A well presented flat lawned area with options of either secluded or open pitches. There is a bus stop conveniently situated some 200 yards at the end of the farm drive and a general store within a mile or so. There is a well maintained toilet and shower facility on site together with local information and maps of the area. The numerous rights of way and byways allowed us to start several interesting walks directly from the site. This little gem of a CL is quiet, safe and well positioned to explore this part of Essex, it is excellent value for money. April 2013.
