Hardstanding pitches are enormous, plenty of room for a car, caravan, awning and all the water paraphenalia still leaving room to walk around the car and van - you don't get that on a Club site. Plenty to do in the area, Lytham Hall free except for a parking charge, all the seaside towns, Brockholes nature reserve, big enough to spend a day there (no dogs). We were going to cycle the Preston Guild Wheel but were thwarted by strong winds. The fields were under water so we skipped the walking - hope to go back in better weather. An excellent site good value with metered electric.
