SUPERB SITE & FANTASTIC JULY WEATHER

A cracking site with very good facilities. A warm welcome and the site is within 4 miles of the coast and handy for Cromer or other North Norfolk seaside towns. I have no hesitation in recommending this site to any club member.

Lovely site well situated

We stayed here for 4 nights in April. The weather was good to us but I don't think the wet would pose any problems. Plenty space and we love the woodchip pitches - not used before but excellent. We always use our onboard shower but after viewing Norman's 'shed' we used the shower provided. Spotlessly clean and always warm, cleaning products provided. As we were the only ones there it was like our own private bathroom !! Plenty of information books if you want to tour the area. Water and electric near to pitches. Lovely site with slight road noise but everything else outweighs that. Norman is friendly and helpful, a great host. We had a meal in the Vernon Arms, Southrepps and would definitely recommend it. It's not far to walk but not advised at night as the road is a bit narrow and fairly dangerous in places. Thank you both for a pleasant stay.

what a gem!!

We have just returned after spending a week on this lovely site. Norman, the owner, gave a warm welcome and plenty of information on local shops pubs etc. He also has folders available with local walks and places of interest to visit. The shower an loo were kept immaculate, and the shower was nice and hot. Also glass and newspapers are recycled. The site is not far from Sheringham or Cromer and is situated at the base of a slight incline which is great as even with the cold and wind this week, we have been very sheltered. This must be fantastic in the summer as a sun trap. The pitches are woodchip which we had not seen before, but it works really well with no mess at all. All pitches have electric and water pipes very close to each pitch for ease of use. We were not bothered by the road noise, although there was the odd siren which you can get anywhere. We enjoyed watching the 'resident' hawk who came to the site each day to hunt. All in all a very nice, well run site with a great owner who wants his guests to have a good time. We have no hesitation in recommending this site. Thank you Norman, we hope to visit you again

One of the better CL's

We spent a week here in mid summer 2012. The directions were accurate and the sat nav was not confused. No lengthy narrow lanes encountered on way to entrance. A warm welcome from the site owner who often toured the vans to chat. Local information given on a welcome handout and also available in a folder located in the shower shed. The shower shed was in very good condition, a decent size with shower, handbasin, lights and mirror: A handtowel was provided and changed frequently: nothing like a shed inside. Cleaning liquids of various types and cloths supplied. It was never dirty - only the odd footprint from the previous user and thats not the owners fault! Recycling bins located near the shower shed as was waste emptying point - also hoze for washing out your container. Electric points at every pitch. Each pitch was grass with woodchip area for the awning. It worked well and we never had standing water in the awning. Long grass in the CL field with regularly mown walkways for dog or camper. Located close to Cromer and many varied attractions / countryside. A beautiful part of the country. Only downside is closeness to a road junction producing noise. Not too bad but if you are sensitive then ear plugs recommended. I do live in a really quiet rural area so I am sensitive! The other member were mainly friendly or insular - no loud parties. A good 8/10 for this site and I would go back. Adults only doesn't suit all but it gives peace for those who have children that are over 18 or left home!

norjen

We stayed here recently and wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone else. The shower/toilet was spotlessly clean and the site immaculate. Norman was cheerful, friendly and ready with advice. The road behind was a bit noisy, but not enough to spoil the location of the site. Will definately stay there again.
