A peaceful site with good access to Durham and the Beamish Museum
We arrived after a period of heavy rain the previous couple of days but the site was well drained and as such we did not experience any difficulties in siting our van.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming and we can recommend the free range eggs.
The view from the site is of open countryside.
We used the site as a base to visit the Beamish Museum something that we can recommend.
Yes we would recommend this site it is quiet, the owner welcoming, and the views are what you would hope for from a country location.
