Beautiful Scenery with Lovely Owners

The site is surrounded by beautiful countryside and you can see horses at the bottom of the site and sheep in the adjacent fields on the hillside. There is a chicken pen at the side of the site belonging to the site owners Tony and Christine. Despite it raining cats and dogs when we stayed Christine came to say hello and brought us a couple of freshly laid eggs which were very much appreciated. The country lane outside the site can be quite fast at times so we'd recommend High Vis clothing when walking on the road (there are no footpaths). Christine showed us a secure field that we could walk our dog in if required. The site slopes downwards and sideways so levelling up can be challenging. Wooden blocks were available on site to help with levelling up. The site provides the usual waste disposal facilities plus recycling facilities, fresh water and electric hook up. There are some hardstanding pitches available. It's helpful to have someone on the road checking for traffic when leaving the site with your caravan as it's uphill and turning onto a narrow at times busy road. Broom House Farm Shop is well worth a visit, the sausages are amazing.
