Chocks needed. Hardstanding in grass. £15 pn with EHU. Very warm welcome from Tony with some local attractions leaflets, info sheet (see photo) and even some freshly laid eggs. The owners genuinely want campers to have an enjoyable time. Horses in the adjacent field with a lovely view over the valley. Paddock for exercising dogs or children. Great location for Kynren show (only on 6 Saturday nights in August and September but superb show that was well organised), Beamish (although not mentioned anywhere- we still got 10% discount with club card), Diggerland (where our 11 year old drove a JCB and a road legal car), Infinity Trampoline Park in Durham with free parking - if space permits, and walk or drive to nearby Broom House Farm Forest Adventure - great fun and learning experience for (probably) under 13's. Near to Durham P&R though we did not use it.
