We stayed for a week over half term in June and can honestly say we have never had such a warm welcome from any CL owners, Christine and Tony are lovely, as were the fresh eggs on arrival. The site is on a slight slope but doesnt cause any issues and the site itself is lovely and quiet with fantastic countryside views. Access to Durham is very easy as is Beamish museum which is well worth a visit. I would also like to say we really appreciated the use of one of the paddocks to let our poorly elderly dog have an off lead sniff around, that certainly made her holiday a happy one.
