Rural site, close to Durham and Beamish. Friendly and helpful owners.
We stayed here for a week in May.
We were welcomed with fresh eggs from some of the 28 hens.
Owing to days of rain the site was waterlogged but we were offered a hard standing. We got set up and enjoyed the view across the valley.
Christine and Tony were very helpful with information and levelling items.
There's a 6 mile circular walk through trees and fields that takes you past Broom House Farm where you can get lovely food.
