Delightful! One of the nicest sites. Marie (the owner) has only been doing this for a year and already made improvements since we last visited in 2014. She is so welcoming and friendly, as with other members of her family. Take advantage of her great seasonal home grown veg / salads on sale. Lovely little orchard with stables and 2 ponies which are very friendly. Beautiful views over the hill. Idyllic out of the way spot without being totally isolated from the world. Superb TV reception with just our caravan roof aerial. Both internet and mobile signals are fast and reliable. Only 5 minutes drive from M1, M6 and A5, but you’d never know it. We have a very large caravan, and have to get the right angle just right turning from the narrow lane through the gate and avoiding the ditch. Marie is planning further improvements here to make the access easier. As it’s hard standing and open all year, we’ll be returning.
