A quiet few days
Signage for the CL was very well hidden. So far set back into the gateway that it is very easy to miss. Once up the drive there is no signage at all to direct you into the CL field. No hardstanding and the slate chips track only goes halfway into the sloping field. Pitches not well marked. No lighting at all outside the toilet and shower after dark. Toilet and shower were fine, cleaned regularly.
Owners very keen for payment on arrival but not in evidence thereafter. We never did manage to find anyone where the chemical toilet disposal is. There was pleanty of signage with rules, but none giving information.
Beautiful area but we would not use this CL again.
