Nice location

We came across this site having not booked, but were looking for somewhere to say in our campervan for the night.  My wife popped into the cafe to enquire and the young lady serving was very helpful, booked us in and explained where we could pitch.  We had the CL to ourselves, although a caravan and a tent were staying on the grass campsite just the other side of a hedge.  The facilities were fine for us (we were self sufficient) - the EHU and chemical toilet disposal were welcome; we didn't need to fill up with fresh water.  It's in a lovely location, surrounded by the estate parkland, although the main road was quite noisy during the day.  It was a good one day stop for our week in Yorkshire. We visited the Abbey, which we really liked, enjoying our packed lunch on one of the many benches - very atmospheric.
