This is a wonderful CL in a very quite location (no traffic noise). The owner gave us a very nice welcome and when we were leaving went out of his way to come and say goodbye. Little touches that make all the difference. The site is terraced each level having 1 pitch on it. The pitches have their own picnic table and dustbin, which the owner empties once a week and when new people arrive. The location is very convenient for touring the toe of Cornwall and in particular Falmouth and Truro. There is a cycle track that starts in Penpol and follows the route of an old mineral tramway to the north coast an easy 28 mile round trip with no traffic, through very interesting and historic countryside. There are also numerous country walks from the site and in the locality. I have no hestitation in recommending this site!
