Beautiful site and area

Stayed here in June. Easy to find and close to major route. However the last bit of the journey is not for nervous 'towers'. Entrance to the site is via a sharp right turn over a narrow bridge and immediate right turn up the drive. We have an 8m van and managed it with a bit of manoeuvring. Once inside a motor mover is essential if you have a long and heavy caravan. BUT its absolutely worth the effort. The site is grass with some stone chipping tracks, tiered and with electric and dustbin for each pitch. Not really a site if you have a walking disability. There are fruit trees a-plenty providing shade and beauty. Just down the road is a footpath alongside the creek (or Pill as we call it in Wales). Picturesque or what? Plenty of pubs serving good pub fare in striking distance. National Trust and other gardens within a few miles. What a joy. Must have been stunning when Mrs Humby was into gardening. Even now the Gunnera and roses are fab. Definitely worth a visit.
