We have just returned from 10 days at Penpol. Our motorhome is not the smallest (7.2mtrs) and entry and exit are, with care, very straightforward. The facilities and other aspects about the site and the owners are as already stated by others and we whole heartedly agree. We are now fully intending to go back, probably in the Spring (but out of school holidays). Penpol is of itself an idyllic site but also it makes an excellent base from which to journey out and see Cornwall. Incidentally we rather spoilt ourselves on this trip and took advantage of the clubs discount arrangements with Enterprise Rentacar, Cornish lanes being somewhat narrow and Claris (the motorhome) being both long and broad of girth. Thank you Mr & Mrs Humby, you have an excellent site and we really enjoyed our stay.
