This is a really lovely CL, clean, spacious pitches, 2 water points with emptying point and bins out of sight. Toilet block was very clean. We felt very privileged to lower our legs and put our feet up in such delightful surroundings. Lovely mowed paths down to the river and lots of nice walks directly from the caravan. All this is in the grounds of Pentney Abbey which the owners Deita & Howard have lovingly restored over the past 4 years. We had the pleasure of a tour of the Abbey by Howard which was a real treat as he is so passionate about the restoration and history. Lots of lovely places to visit near by we particularly enjoyed the Denver Locks where there is a lovely pub and tables outside by the river. The CL is full of birds and wildlife. Thanks to our hosts we had a super holiday with a relaxed atmosphere and peace and quiet except for the dawn chorus which was AMAZING. We will be back.
