We have just returned from a weekend here (14th-16th August). From booking over the phone, to leaving today, Richard, the owner could not have been more accommodating. We are first time caravanners with a long twin axle caravan and apprehensive about our first trip. We gave Richard a call when we were a couple of minutes away, and he met us on the drive and guided us in. This lunchtime on leaving, he made sure he was around and guided us out as the access is a little tight!
The site itself is lovely on a gentle slope, surrounded by fields with drinking water and EHU on each of the 5 pitches.
There is also a chemical waste point, recycling and a spotlessly clean WC - and I mean spotless!
We didn't do much in the area as we are fairly local and this was a practice trip, but it was lovely to relax in the peaceful environment.
We took our two dogs and there are public footpaths and fields for walking the dogs.
It was a perfect introduction to caravanning for us, and we cannot thank the owners enough for their help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this CL for anyone wishing to visit this area.
