West Yorkshire Wonder

Set on a hillside with lovely views across Shibden Valley this site gives easy access to a host of interesting places to visit. Although the site is sloping all five pitches have levelling flags making setting up a doddle though it is well worth calling up the friendly and helpful owner, Richard, to guide you into the farmyard. There is a family feel to the place with many people choosing to make regular return visits and the well maintained facilities make this easy to understand. You can walk to Shibden Hall and Halifax (Piece Hall) or use the excellent bus services if you want to leave the car on site. The Bronte Parsonage is a superb visit and many enjoy a trip on the adjacent steam railway. The whole area is criss crossed with wonderful walking - though best avoid the days when it is 30⁰'C because the hills are steep!
