Great site suited us well in our camper.
Super clean toilet and shower rooms.
Electric and water points on the pitch so no need for long cable.
Lots of room around the pitch.
Very quiet hardly any vehicles passing on the small road behind.
Good dog walks locally across adjacent fields via public footpaths.
Alison was great with communication from booking to arrival and while on site.
Thanks again hope to see you again next year.
Welcoming peacefull site
What a beautiful site to stay at with lovely views, very peaceful and immaculately clean well thought out site and facilities. Central location to nearby towns and places of interest. Anthony and Alison were very welcoming and helped me with a problem on my car which made our weekend much happier, would highly recomend staying here will be back again many thanks to great hosts paul.
Immaculate site with great facilities
This was our first CL having recently joined the CAMC. Warm welcome from Alison the owner and had our pick of pitches. Site is maintained to a very high standard-shower & toilet facilities were spotlessly clean with lots of hot water. Stunning views facing and behind the site and very peaceful setting. A very minor road runs behind the site but we heard very few cars in the 5 days of our stay. The site is on a slight slope but it was easy to pitch our caravan and there are plenty of blocks provided if required. The owner’s attention to detail in all aspects of hygiene was second to none. Would highly recommend this site.

A lovely weekend stay
First CL we have stayed on.
Friendly and helpful welcome by Alison on arrival.
Lovely shower block well designed with L shaped shower area.
Site is very well maintained with EHU and water supply on each pitch.
Very peaceful with wonderful views.
Will definitely go back.
An immaculate site in a peaceful locality with excellent facilities and lots to see and do in the area
Plas Newydd is clearly a labour of love for Alison and Anthony - they are caravanners themselves and have put a lot of thought into designing and running the CL of their dreams. The CL is very well-maintained - it has a clean and modern toilet & shower block, plus electric hookups & water at each pitch.
It is on a quiet hillside with green views and dark skies for star-gazing, yet close enough for day-trips to popular tourist destinations such as Llangollen, Snowdonia, and Chester.
Excellent
A lovely, peaceful small site. Greeted my Ben who then went out of his way to help us with setting up as it was our first time setting up on a slope. It’s easy and I’d now be confident having a go myself.
We used our own facilities (Covid 19) but the water/waste was easy... plenty of sanitiser and rubbish is recycled easily, which is good to see
Will definitely go back.
Thanks for a great stay

Too good to pass by ...
We stayed for two nights whilst visiting friends living locally.
This was our first stay on a CL having recently joined the CAMC.
We were met on arrival by the lovely Alison and Anthony who were so friendly and welcoming.
The site is in a secluded tranquil location with gorgeous views; the amenities are first class. Electric hook up and water taps are provided at each pitch, and the showers and toilets are modern and spotlessly clean. The site does slope but this didn't cause us a problem.
Thank you for a lovely stay; we fear we may have been spoilt.
We can not imagine all CLs are as excellent as this one and we look forward to staying here again.
2 Nights
Excellent site, wonderful views and good walks.
Possibly the best toilets, showers and waste drop in Wales. Easy book in and greeted on arrival.
Would certainly recommend this cl site.
Thanks very much.
A beautiful site with outstanding amenities
We have spent two nights here in this lovely valley edge site. The pitches have their own water supply which makes life very easy! We had no trouble finding the site or pitching up. It does slope but nothing we couldn’t cope with. The shower and toilet facilities were very smart and super clean. Walking from the door in both directions on the very quiet small road led to exceptional views with very little effort. Snowdonia visible on both days we were there.
A lovely site with great facilities
Plas Newydd is a superb example of what a CL should be. The owners, Anthony & Alison are great hosts and the facilities are better than anyone could reasonably expect. The peaceful location is excellent, with lovely views, providing an enviable base for North Wales.
We visited Bala, Porthmadog via the Ffestiniog Railway (start at Tan Y Bwlch if you want parking and a nature walk) and Barmouth as well as Llangollen and The Horseshoe Falls. Llandudno, Conwy and the Snowdon Mountain Railway, from Llanberis, are easily reachable, but don’t overlook the Llangollen Railway, which follows the River Dee to Corwen, nor the Llangollen canal, where you can enjoy horse-drawn barge trips.
The site does slope. Anthony had to help us onto our pitch using his 4 x 4 as the grass was damp. It is also on a hillside, meaning it can be breezy, so secure your awning as well as possible!
Thank you, Alison, for the delicious cooking apples. We also loved the eggs (and your chickens!).
Highly recommended.
