We have just spent 6 nights here and what a find! We love Exmoor and normally stay at Exmoor House in Dulverton but the last time we went there it was so, so busy! We wanted somewhere where we could relax and switch off and Plymptons Farm delivered that - and more. Tranquil (we didn’t notice my traffic noise but did hear an owl!), beautiful and the owners are just lovely. We drive a large A Class motorhome and we also tow a little car which we unhitched in the lay-by off of the A361. We then drove separate down the little lane to the site (just in case we needed to reverse) but didn’t meet anything. The site was spotless with recycling facilities available. Electric hook up, easy access to water and good tv reception. We had tried to book The Masons Arms before leaving home but they were fully booked so left our name and number in case they had a cancellation. They phoned on the Saturday to say that they had a spot for us in the bar (ideal as we have a dog). The food there is fantastic and for £24.95 a head for 3 courses, well worth a visit. We also visited South Molton market on the Saturday morning and have walked miles around this beautiful area. All in all this place was ideal for us and I will miss the geese and the sunsets.
