Ease of arrival/welcome

Spoilt by roaming dogs

Site has five hard standing pitches although one obviously very long-term as awning green and lots of weeds growing under the caravan. Also a static caravan on site which appeared to be residential and the owners of two dogs who roamed the site. Within an hour of arrival one of them had 'lifted their leg' on one of our chairs. On mentioning this to the site owner she suggested that I speak to the lady concerned as she herself had spoken to her regarding the dogs being off leads on many occasions. Also a third dog but not sure who this one belonged to (not one of the visiting caravan as these dogs were kept on leads under control - including our own dog). This one urinated on our awning and our hitch cover (being a large dog) and also toileted near the water tap - and obviously nobody to clean up after it. Also two additional caravans on the grass which 'were not part of the CL'. The view from this CL was amazing but our stay was spoilt by the dogs. Nice clean toilet on site, although personally feel that this not necessary. Disappointed that no rubbish disposal on site - rubbish had to be carried down to the road and there was no recycling. Electricity on a meter, which seemed quite reasonable adding approximately £1 per night to the cost of £12.
