Monday 19th June to Monday 26th June 2023 We were delighted to secure a booking on this wonderful CL owned by Pam and Adrian. Having camped at nearby New England Bay site many times, we knew about the CL and hoped to book it at some point. We were very glad we did. Our stay even exceeded our expectations. With only three pitches we had lots of personal space. Pam welcomed us on arrival and she and Adrian were always on hand or nearby if we needed anything. The pitch was beautifully maintained, although sloping but we were able to level up without any problem. We did put up our awning but it was very windy at times, of course, this is to be expected, being high up and on the coast. There was 10amp hook up, water tap, rubbish disposal (glass at the bottom of the hill as well as dog waste). Locked toilet which was kept spotless. The views were amazing, over the sea to Ireland, in the bay at Port Loggan or watching the birds and wild life on the site. Our dogs absolutely loved the beach. It was so close by and usually empty. There are no shops, bars or eateries in Port Loggan. However, The Moo Poo is a beautiful little craft premises right on the shore front, I had a lovely chat with the owner and bought a few gifts to take home. The area is beautiful and over the years we have explored most of it so this time we just sat and relaxed. We had a wonderful week and have already booked for next year.
