Just coming to the end of a lovely week at this great CL. (Just to be aware 7 night bookings only, and not suitable for motor homes or camper vans) Also only accepts 3 vans. We were lucky to get a canx, and I see from their FB page have had canx for July. Pam a extremely friendly helpful owner, welcome envelope on arrival with all the info you should need. A very quiet peaceful site with stunning views. Very clean nautical themed toilet, no hot water. A really quiet lovely beach just minutes away so great for dogs. No shops or pub, so need supplies Stranraer 13 miles away for Petrol and supermarkets. Port Patrick whitch is a lovely village has pub and a shop, a few miles away but worth a visit. Also visited Mull of Galloway and the really unusual Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel a bit out of the way but serve food and great views. Plenty of gardens to visit, the Botanical Garden looks great, but doesn’t allow dogs, so we couldn’t visit. Castle Kennedy good too, didn’t visit this time as viewed on a previous trip.
