Good country CL

Very easy to book, with plenty of information sent prior to arrival. Friendly and helpful owners. Nice easy access, make sure you follow the instructions given. Pitch 1&2 (hardstanding) have been set up to allow units to drive through, thereby negating the need to reverse. The 3 hardstandings are quite close but still have plenty of room. There is more room around the grass pitches. The camping area is not all that big in the main part, but because you can pitch in any direction on the grass you can pitch yourself so you're not overlooking other units. The pitches the otherside of the hedge are very private. The ground was firm due to the matting underneath. The meter for electricity works from meter reads, so no need to worry about coins. Plenty to do in the area and can recommend a visit to the Star pub. The food and service were excellent. The NCN41 runs through the village. The cycle into Tewkesbury was really picturesque and flat. There are a couple of offroad sections that would be muddy and wet in the winter. Now it's stopped raining at last they were bone dry. There was a little road noise from time to time, but it was dependant on the wind direction and was very much a background sound. Overall a really nice site that we'd visit again.
