Ease of arrival/welcome

A favourite for years but can be mismanaged at times.

This is a quiet CL tucked away down a private lane in a field next to Raydon Hall farm. There are views across the fields to the river, where you can just see the tops of masts of moored boats, and it is and easy walk to the lovely village of Orford, with a castle, pubs and restaurants, a couple of shops and the river and quayside. Also there are very interesting trips to Orford Ness, the preserved military complex and lighthouse. All very pretty and picturesque. It would help if the pitches were numbered, however, as the space is quite limited and some owners don't always pitch sensibly so as to share the space and views. Several times we have been and there have been 6 outfits on the site - when queried with the owner he has pleaded confusion over bookings. There isn't really space for 6, especially as when we visited this time we counted at least 8 dogs on site! Despite this, we will return as the good points outweight the bad ones for us!
