This was our first visit to a CL site and it was a great choice. Easy to get to, just off the A59, a quiet drive down a single track lane which had a few lumps and bumps but nothing to worry about. We got a friendly welcome when we arrived and shown to a flat field in which to pitch up. The hookup poles are well spaced, the fresh water is close by as are the recycle and waste bins, there is a nice little ramp to the grey water emptying point and the elsan is easy to get to with it's own water supply for rinsing. Fresh free range eggs are available to buy. There is a really old chapel on site which you can access. The tennis court wasn't open but the pool was and it got used everyday. the site is a riding school so plenty of horses to look at, there is also the added benefit of a gymkhana on the Wednesday night which we all enjoyed watching. All in all this is a fabulous site which we shall revisit.
