Would thoroughly recommend this site. I was welcomed by Gill who gave plenty of details of the area and what to see and do. It had been very wet up to the time I arrived, so I was directed to a single hard standing pitch, which , with a low hedge around, was able to protect me from the gusty winds. I was amazed at how central it was to all the places of interest in the area. The bus stop was five minutes away , so took a bus to Aberaeron on one day and walked the six miles back to New Quay,( itself only 2 miles from our Site) on the beautiful Coast Path. The pretty coastal village of Llangranog is just 45 minutes on my bike on very quiet country roads. Enjoyed a meal in the Beach Hut and a coffee in the Cafi Patio on the beach itself. Drove to Aberystwyth one day and took the Cliff Railway up Constitution Hill and visited the Old Colosseum Museum, well worth it and free too ! New Quay itself is such a jewel just a short one mile walk on again quiet country roads ( so avoiding the main busy road). Enjoyed some lovely coffees and ice creams after those fish and chips!! Will definitely be coming back!
